...The timing of this demolition is providing an excellent opportunity to practice as we are all stuck in a lock down in the building next door... In relation to the lock down, they need to ensure the site is safe before leaving it, hence the continuation of the noise. The builders next door are lovely, and are trying to finish this work by then end of the week, so it may be quieter then=) Either way, we will be attempting to rest in whatever arises (explosion sounds or otherwise) at 8.30 every morning! See you there!
Good Morning the sounds reminded me of being at Samye Ling whilst the courtyard was being laid -Happy memories
It's much easier for us at home. One Easter Retreat Lama Yeshe told everyone a story about doing his 3 year retreat while they were building Samye Ling Temple next to his hut.
