"If we fail to look after others when they need help, who will help us"

In the last post we expressed how there seems to be quite a lot of natural resistance to staying indoors, and the issues that arise around isolation. However, there are also people who have to leave the safety of their homes, and sacrifice their own sense health and wellbeing, to care for all of those suffering from the virus as well as other conditions during this time. This evening the residents of KSD stood out on the steps at 8pm and cheered for the NHS. Reflecting on the risk and extreme effort our doctors and nurses are putting into saving lives at the moment makes resisting outings and gatherings in the sunshine a small sacrifice. We should all try our best to follow the guidelines to protect not just ourselves, family and friends but also those health professionals that are putting themselves at such great risk for their fellow humans.
